I don’t usually do that,but I won the Trans Stoney Marathon today. But in order here is how the long weekend of racing unfolded: Bogi at the Bacon Buffet XC 2010 –photo by David Roberts Saturday,drove up to Fern &Harvey’s MTB Farm (fantastic trails!) and froze our butt tenting with [...] When we signed up few months ago it was only to increase our motivation for training. But on Sunday we were at the start line of the 2010 Salty Dog 6 hour Enduro race in Salmon Arm. My 2nd 6 hour race ever,Bogi’s 1st. Not sure how the body will function after 3 hours,[...] After picking up the lucky #7 number plate for the year,we headed to pre-ride the short and muddy 2010 Coulee Cruiser course. The organizers were able to modify the original course so it avoided the most muddy spots. As a result,by the time of the race start the trail dried so much that mud was [...] May 8 –coulee cruiser XC May 16 –salty dog,6 hour enduro May 23 –bacon buffet XC May 24 –trans stoney marathon 6 hour enduro May 30 –Giver-8-r 8 hour enduro This is more racing that I have ever done in a month,but I figured I just use May as [...] the good news:the new Ridley X-Fire is super nice. the bad news:the snow is so deep in May that once you dig the wheels in it keeps the bike upright in a strong wind.
