65k today. Amasa Back –Pot Hole –Rock Stacker –Jackson’s Trail. Good ride no major crashes,one mechanical which were able to fix on the trail. Tried Slick Rock trail in the afternoon until the 90kph wind literally blown Lianne and Bogi off their bikes. In the morning,Porcupine rim,Craig and I  climbing up than zooming down on UPS until …  Bogi crashed bad…she is  OK though. she should be able to ride tomorrow. Man it is hard to do this ride when you go slow… In the afternoon we did Sovereign Singletrack and I had my first face-plant, piercing my ear in a bush. Bonked bad last night on a 90K training ride with Deadgoats. I thought I should know by now when and what to eat….

First MTB ride –Benchlands trail in Canmore.

On the weekend the first MTB ride was completed on the SS. The Benchlands trail in Canmore is in awesome shape. Thanks to Craig M. and Jon I did not even get lost.

Climbs are much harder than I remembered.
